Preventing Flu and Colds

Along with the cooler weather comes the season for colds and influenza (flu), which can cause more severe symptoms in younger children. We encourage you to speak with your (and your child’s) health care provider about receiving the flu vaccination in the prevention of the flu this year.  In addition to receiving the flu vaccination, hand washing is an important step in preventing the flu and other illnesses. Here at LeafSpring School at Wyndham, we are focusing on hand washing in our classrooms in the prevention of colds and other contagious illnesses.
